Tonya Crawford, Regional Vice President, Employer Stop Loss, has been recognized by Captive International as a Highly Commended Reinsurance Professional. This honor was announced in the magazine’s US Awards 2023 digital issue on November 7.
Crawford joined Summit Re early in 2023, bringing deep industry experience in both captives and self-funded insurance. Her current responsibilities at Summit Re serving the employer stop loss captive market encompass both of those areas, making her the perfect fit for this role.

The Captive International awards are based on feedback received from the captive insurance industry. Those recognized in each category were selected based on responses to a comprehensive online questionnaire, wherein respondents named firms and individuals with whom they have had experience. Criteria included competence, expertise, and innovation.
