Kris is responsible for managing our claims department.  Her many responsibilities include auditing and adjudicating claims, assisting clients with questions and procedures, and ensuring quality and turn-around time goals are met.  She also has assisted in the development and enhancement of an HMO Reinsurance claims system and writing a claims manual for the company.

While enjoying a cup of latte at a favorite coffee shop, Kris shared the following:

She recently celebrated her 10th Wedding Anniversary with her husband. He is quite the comedian and she admits there is never a dull day together.  Their two dogs Stella (the ol'girl), and Roxy (the ornery one), add to the mix for a very active family.

During her spare time, Kris takes vocal and guitar lessons and even has had a couple of "gigs" recently.  She admits to being the one that always sang the loudest in her church choir, however, she would like to sing and play in a coffee house atmosphere.  Rock & Roll, alternative and a little country are in her wide range of favorites. A sports enthusiast, she actively plays volleyball on a league team AND she ran her first 5k last year.  She's been a top shooter when Summit Re plays laser tag, however, keeps a low profile for fear of retribution.

When Kris is not working, singing, playing her guitar or involved in sports, she is an avid reader.  John Grisham, Nelson DeMille and Patricia Cornwell are some of her favorite authors.

The staff thoroughly enjoys her terrific sense of humor that always seems to create a moment (or two) of laughter during the day.
